The UNIBEN ecampus is located at https://uniben.waeup.org/ as they closed the one they run and now uses the one located on The West African eUniversity Project (waeup.org). Anyone in need of UNIBEN Ecampus should refer to the link above and ignore any other one you see out there.

This post was borne out of the messages we have been seeing from some of our readers asking how authentic some e-campuses of UNIBEN are. We are responding to you today that there is only one UNIBEN ecampus at https://uniben.waeup.org/ and that’s the only one you should trust.

A publication on UNIBEN’s website warning people goes thus:

The Management of University of Benin wishes to alert the university community and the general public of a fraudulent website asking unsuspecting prospective students to pay the sum of twelve thousand naira to obtain pre-degree form. The contact for this fraudulent practice goes by the name, Jerry Chucks, with GSM number) 08134882164.
For the avoidance of doubt, university of Benin does not run pre-degree programmes in any of her courses. More so,there are laid down procedures for enquiries in the university.All prospective students of the university should be on their guard in order not to fall prey of criminal elements in our midst.
