Important Guidelines for Prospective Corps Members

1. Proceed to Respective Camps

Prospective Corps Members for the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course should head to their designated camps as delineated in their Call-up Letters.

2. Guidance for Foreign-Trained Graduates

If you are a foreign-trained graduate, please report to camp with your International Passports and original copies of all uploaded documents.

3. Travel Safety Measures

Your safety is paramount. Corps Members are urged not to embark on night journeys to the Orientation Camps. If travelling beyond 6:00 pm, find shelter in military or police barracks, NYSC Secretariats, Corps Lodges, or other safe locations.

4. Insight into Call-up Letters

Carefully read your Call-up letters, as they encase all relevant instructions and guidelines.

5. Enhancing Security Consciousness

Parents and guardians must impress upon their wards the importance of security awareness. Avoid boarding vehicles by the roadside or those unregistered with the NURTW. Use only government-approved motor parks and recognize the perils of night travel.

6. National Diploma (ND) Certificate

If you’re from Mono/Polytechnics, be sure to present your ND Certificate along with other pertinent documents at the Orientation Camps nationwide.

7. Strict Warning Against Fake Documents

Don’t even contemplate presenting any fraudulent documents. Management has implemented stringent measures to clamp down and prosecute any offenders.

8. Lost Call-up Letter

If you happen to lose your Call-up Letter, refer to the guidelines specified in the blog post.

Familiarize yourself with the legal repercussions of failing to report for service or producing counterfeit documents.

10. Special Provisions for Married, Pregnant, and Nursing Mothers

Married, pregnant, and nursing mothers not deployed to their husbands’ places of domicile may now go to the NYSC Orientation Camps within their spouses’ States of residence. Present the required documents as listed in the blog post for registration.

All corps members should be prepared, stay informed, and adhere to the guidelines provided by the NYSC Management.
